The Central Valley Champions for Change Resource Directory is here!
The Central Valley Champions for Change Resource Directory serves as a tool to help local health departments and their partners connect to likely partners who can support building the capacity of Champions and advancing efforts in creating healthier food and physical activity environments. The directory is intended to promote and improve collaboration among partners, while lifting up opportunities and resources for the community related to Nutrition Education, Nutrition Assistance, Physical Activity Promotion, as well as other services within California’s Central Valley. Included in the Resource Directory are also County Resource Hotlines, such as 2-1-1.
The Central Valley includes the following 6 counties: Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Tulare. The Central Valley Champions for Change Directory was developed by the Central Valley Training and Resource Center.
Please also visit the Nutrition and Physical Activity Resource Directory where you will find links to organizations that can assist you with locating free or low-cost nutrition and physical activity resources in your community. This resource directory was developed by the UC Cooperative Extension, Fresno County and Central Valley Health and Nutrition Collaborative.
